Intro to Typo week 11

I tried to visit toko kemenangan because i 've to observe some paper. But i'm quiet dissapointed because when i arrived at Toko Kemenangan Mampang Prapatan, the place is small and choices of the paper were not complete. But i tried to buy buffalo paper:

After that i went to sequis then having a lunch with Berta at CINB Niaga 's food court and found this supppper cute brand new Teh Botol packaging :3

Today ms uma asked us to do a presentation about our progress in making the calendar. I've made the actual size and the layout.

Then i received some advice, ms uma said that i've to think about the packaging, make the layout neater, and correct the image. 

Typeface that i've decided.

And based on the typefaces that i've downloaded, ms uma chose Gill Sans and Georgia, and i've to combine them.

And i also have printed ulos article

Ohya! I've to change the word on the calendar. I wrote the month without the front letter like i didn't write january, but i wrote anuary. HEHE 

Time Magazine: Self Portrait

Today was fun! I met my favourite drawing equipment! It is the pastel crayon! Sorry sir Angga i borrowed yours ;-p

Wish i could buy this pastels!!! (As soon as possible) cuz i really loves it!! It's easy to blend and i just love it!!!!!!❤

I used that for making a self portrait of me :p. The first step was tracing my face with tracing paper:

Left-right: using sharpie marker - using technical pencil.

Then i copied it into 3 copies:

Voila! It's time for colouring with pastels!!!!!

Decide the dark part first then blend it with your hand.

Compare it with the original image!

AND VOILA HERE IS MY PRECIOUS :'* 

So glad that i could. Make. It. Like. That. Omg!!! HEHEHEHE

1. Why my eyes are direct to the right?

2. Why i use yellow as the background?

A:

1. Because i am the kind of person who always look ahead. I'm not a kind of person who fixated on the past. And my mindset is positive. Bismillah HEHEHEH 😄😄😄

2. Yellow is so me. Yellow defines happy, cheerful, bright, fun, etc. hehehe and i (my friends also) think i'm that kind of person :p

Heyyyaaa! Today was f-u-n, FUN! Idky i'm shoo happyyy today!! Although i just fell asleep at 2:36 am.

Today we (adia, berta, and ezy) went to Grand Lucky SCBD (shopping materials needed for Jakarta Diorama). And here is it!

On thursday, i was having a quality control with Ms Uma about my calendar. She told me that i have to make it smaller and spruced the layout. So i made the new one (17cmx17cm) 

First started to make the shapes then continued making the cover.

Millimeter Block

A saturday class? Am i supposed to be :) or :(?

Today was continuing our project from Trax FM. We were asked to buy a millimeter block, because it will be easier to count the total of TetraPak needed. So me, Berta, and Ezy went to Pacific Place.

After that, we came back then started to draw on millimeter block. If we drew on millimeter blcok, we have to make it smaller and has the scale. So i made from 150cm:120cm into 15cm:12cm.

Then we listed the total amount of TetraPak

Wealth Expo 2013

Today me and my mom to the Wealth Expo 2013 that held in Kota Kasablanka 3rd floor. Many of the motivators participate and motivating us like Adam Khoo, Merry Riana, Chris Gardner (the inspiration for the film "Pursuit of Happiness"), and many more.

It was a great opportunity to learn from the experts and to be there!! I learnt something new about when is the good time to buy or sell the stocks.

This morning was opened with a warm greetings from Adam Khoo. He is so friendly, sometimes funny, and so on fire 🔥🔥🔥 HEHE i also love the way he shared his knowledge to us. It's understandable, and i enjoyed it. He already become a reach person since he was 26 years old. He told us that he already started a business when he was 16. He learnt business from his aunt. Then he got married when he was 23.

Something new i learnt from Adam is about passive income and how to buy/sell the stock. 

Income is divided into 2 types, passive and active income. 

Active income is income that you got based on the time you give, for example salary. The more you give your time for working, the more salary will you get. 

Passive income is income that you got by  no need to giving your time. For example investment. 

I also learnt about wealth. How many month that we can stop working but we can still alive. Here is the formula :) 

W =  : (expenses-passive income)

Then i was also introduced with stock. When the stock is starting to going up you have to buy and when it starting to  going down you have to sell. If you follow this step, you can have a money returned!!!

He really inspires me. I learnt a lesson that become a reach people is not only working working aaaand working. We also can have a passive income that money is coming to us without giving a really hard work. You just need a strategy :)
