Exhibition 2013

it was the first time i join UIC Exhibition. The theme for this year is "Creativity in Professionalism". I was helping the seniors to spread the brochure and selling cute things like book, stamp, book divider, pencil case, etc. We also be able to watch the talkshow by IWearBanana, the street artist (Larasati Tattoo), OptiOne [on the first day], Mariam Kartikatresni, Rengo Adjie (Locker Media), Onigiri Futago [on the second day]. And on the last day, we're entertained by The Overtunes.

Larasati tattoo shows us how to design an old shoe become more beautiful than before. He said first you can use aseton (nail polish remover) to clean your shoes. You can use a permanent marker to draw the grafitti. As simple as that.

todaaaaay is the last daaaaaay~~~~~!!! say YAAAAY to HOLIDAAAY!!!!

today we only decide what type of the pamphlet stitch that we will make for "a book of me". then having some sketches about inside the book, how to make, etc.

And after the looong holiday here's my book

I used tunnel book method for the cover:

There are 3 parts.

And i used stab binding method for the book. The materials are:

Photos, thread, needle, carton paper (for the cover), blank paper (for the filling), marker, coloring pencil, scissors, glue

today we're playing with the box. hi hi hi. boxes that represents static, dynamic, unity, size etc.

today we started to make an A2 poster of our typography vernaculars (in the end become a homework ;__;). first of all we we're asked to presented our presentation about the typographers.

well, steps of making the poster are:

1. trace the alphabet that you've printed on A3 paper

2. draw some sketches for your poster

3. decide the best sketch

4. Start to draw using pencil

5. Then using spidol
